This Honda is in excellent cosmetic condition as the entire car is wrapped in a clear paint protection film (bumpers, hood, fenders, windshield surround, trunk, quarter panels, mirrors, doors, etc.), has been well cared for and garage kept, has like new Michelin tires, and shows almost no cosmetic defects. The interior is also in excellent condition aside from slight creases on the seats as seen in the photos. Recently, the car suffered an internal engine failure and as a result we installed a brand new complete Honda short block (which includes pistons, crankshaft, timing chain, guides, etc.), a brand new clutch, thermostat, water pump, and reconditioned cylinder head. The car runs and drives like it just came off the assembly line. This S2000 is a pristine example of the first year of production. This version was produced for Honda's 50th Anniversary. This vehicle was purchased by it's original owner with all available options in 1999 to be held as an investment. He sold it in late 2016 when his health declined. I purchased it from this buyer in July of 2017. The car has all service documentation as well as documentational history from the original owner. The car has never seen rain or wet road. With an average of 450 miles driven per year, this car is still new. You will not find a more perfect representation of this car in this original, practically new condition. The tires were replaced with Michelins by the original owner in 2013.
